Kairos — Brand explainer film
A brand film for a SaaS platform that keeps auto-garage customers in the loop, built around one uncomfortable moment every garage knows.
The problem worth naming
Kairos automates customer communication for auto garages. That's the product. But "automated customer communication" is a phrase nobody feels anything about — and a brand film that opens with the feature list has already lost the room.
So we went looking for the moment underneath the software: the car is ready, the job is done, and the customer still doesn't know. They call. Nobody picks up. They wait. Every hour in that silence costs a little trust.
The idea
We built the whole film on that gap. It opens inside the silence — missed calls stacking up, an SMS that never arrived, an appointment sitting unconfirmed — then closes it, beat by beat, with the product doing the work in the background.
Naming the problem does something a feature list can't: the viewer recognises their own week. By the time the product appears, they already want it.
How it was made
- Typographic rhythm. The script carries the film, so type is the lead actor — sized, timed and cut to land one idea per beat.
- Motion pacing. Tension in the first half, release in the second. The edit slows down exactly where the product takes over.
- Real interface moments. Notifications, appointments and confirmations animated as they actually appear, so nothing feels invented.
- Sound design. The silence is designed too — the film uses restraint early so the resolution has somewhere to land.
What Kairos got
A 55-second brand film with full sound design, delivered in the formats the team needed for their site and social channels — plus a matching product demo that shows the booking flow end to end.
The booking flow, in 32 seconds.
Where the brand film sells the problem, the demo proves the fix: book, confirm, sync — with tight UI choreography that makes the interaction feel effortless.
